I don’t have anything poetic to say today. Last night’s windstorm wreaked havoc on the beautiful laid cardboard and after collecting it all from neighboring property, it is now weighed down and waiting for some calmer weather (or the actual compost to hold in place). We braved the bitter cold and managed to clean up some of the beds where I had last year’s wildflowers.  And I started a bunch more seeds – Pincushion, Tickseed, Coreopsis, Echinacea, Bee Balm, Strawflower today.  It feels like everything is behind schedule by weeks and it’s never going to warm up. I’ll laugh about that in July, I know.  For now though I’m going to have a glass (or three) of wine, read a little bit, and try to come to terms with the fact that I have no idea what I’m doing and until I do it, I won’t know how to do it.
